A Warm Welcome to Chilton Primary School

At Chilton Primary School, we pride ourselves on providing exciting and personalised learning so that all children are inspired and enabled to be confident and successful pupils. Our school values: Aspiration, Challenge, Collaboration, Diversity, Engagement, Enquiry and Autonomy truly embody our whole school ethos within which every child has the support and opportunity to become the best that they can be.

Our curriculum is exciting and imaginative. We celebrate and immerse ourselves in literature so that children become proficient readers and writers. Our Maths curriculum is centred on the acquisition of essential number skills which can then be applied to any area of Maths successfully. Truly dynamic, the International Primary Curriculum provides engaging and fascinating learning experiences and this is complimented by our commitment to quality Physical Education lessons which provide a wide variety of sporting activities.

Our staff are dedicated and innovative, highly qualified and experienced. They provide and nurture outstanding learning through stimulating lessons, ensuring enjoyment, progression and attainment. Our teachers are passionate educators who thrive on seeing their pupils grasp new concepts, learn new skills and excel in demonstrating their knowledge and understanding. They also believe that school should be fun!

We also provide a vast array of extra-curricular activities and participate in many sporting events from football to Cross Country. Our dedicated music teacher also leads exciting musical opportunities and we are dedicated to promoting the Arts throughout our school activities.

We believe strongly in cultivating our community links. Our PTFA is proactive in organising highly successful events from film nights to discos to the summer fayre. We work closely with local schools, both primary and secondary and have a working group - The West Ramsgate Achievement Partnership - with Priory Infant School, Little Ellington Infant School and Ramsgate Free School.

At Chilton Primary School our children are happy. They are polite, confident and ambitious. We foster a love of learning which provides a solid foundation for the future. We invite you to discover the unique benefits of Chilton Primary School for yourselves.
