Curriculum Information

Chilton Primary School is at an exciting phase of delivering the curriculum. Each term we base the teaching of our Foundation Subjects around a topic, The curriculum has become a whole learning experience with continuity and cross curricular links rather than a series of separated lessons on different subjects. Adding fun and excitement to the lessons, encouraging thinking, participation and enthusiasm from all the children and staff!

For each subject, there are several Key Statements to be covered each term. These come from the National Curriculum and form the basis of our lessons for that particular term. The Science units are also linked to some of these topics.
