Kent Walking Bus
We promote walking to school for health and fitness and award prizes for classes where most children walk regularly. Walking to school reduces traffic congestion and pollution in the streets around school. So far since October 2009 we have recorded over 2000 pupil and staff walks to school meaning there have been 1300 less cars on the school run up to December 2009.
Maths in School
Here at Chilton Primary School we are planning to put an extra special effort into getting our junior pupils to learn their times tables over the next term. Times tables recall is an essential part of the maths curriculum which is transferable and vital in many areas of the subject.
Read about the events and approaches we have lined up to make learning tables fun but are asking for your support too!
